the race was nice, even though it rained the entire time. i was soaked before it even started, but as it rained harder, i trudged on. I say trudge because although I hit the first mile at 7 minutes and 15 seconds, my time for the 5K was 26:43.

Lets just say I dropped speed -- a LOT. but i still finished in 32nd place, which surprised the hell out of me.

i'd write more about it but there's a lot on my mind.
