hey everyone:
here i am, begging for help. i am writing a paper on EDs and WHY someone would make the choice to hold on to their ed even until death. i am using myself as an example, and some from the book Dying to be Thin but that book is so outdated, you know?
so i am looking for stories from any of you that suffer. they can be as long or short as you want, but would need to include the following:
1. Your name (real or pseudonym)
2. Your location
3. Your age/sex
4. The age you started to notice your ED or have symptoms
5. How far along you are in treatment, if you are in treatment, and your views on your ED
6. Why you think your ED is something that is scary to let go of.

and anything else any of you might be willing to offer. i only need a few responses, but the more the merrier. please. give me a hand. i know many of you are in treatment as i am and i would like to share your stories. no real names will be used in my paper and the paper will only be read and graded by my womens' studies professor.
