things are getting better, but we're about to find out how bad they really are. bodies are floating in the water in st. bernard parish, outside of new orleans. school starts tomorrow with over 2000 transfer students from UNO and other schools in the new orleans area. where will they live? there are messages posted everywhere by people looking for homes, or just a place to stay for a while. the shelters are full. people are being shipped as far as detroit. i can't park in my usual places at school because they're filled with parking for the shelters, or the temporary morgue. it's insane. it's horrid.

we don't have a choice but to go on.
